Hormonal
Epithalon
Pineal Tetrapeptide
Scientific Overview
Epithalon (also spelled epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide based on a pineal peptide sequence. Cell and animal literature examines telomerase activity, telomere readouts, and pineal-peptide biology.
Mechanism focus: In vitro studies report telomerase-related effects and changes in telomere-length assays. The peptide is studied as a short pineal sequence, not as a growth-hormone secretagogue.
Research Use Cases

- In vitro aging-model readouts
Use-Case Study Notations
- Case-study notation (in vitro): cell papers report telomere and telomerase readouts after epitalon exposure.
- Case-study notation: reviews describe epitalon as a pineal tetrapeptide with a still-developing evidence base.
