Hormonal
CJC
Short-Acting GHRH Analog
Scientific Overview
CJC on this page is the short-acting growth hormone–releasing hormone analog, supplied as its own catalog identity. It is not the long-acting CJC-1295 material that carries a Drug Affinity Complex. The DAC analog has a separate page.
Mechanism focus: Both materials are studied at the pituitary GHRH receptor. DAC chemistry is what extends exposure of CJC-1295 in pharmacokinetic papers. Without that albumin-binding complex, this CJC identity is treated as the short-acting analog and should not be substituted for the DAC page.
Research Use Cases
- Short-acting GHRH analog pharmacology
- Comparison of DAC and non-DAC GHRH constructs
- Growth-hormone axis research designs
- Identity testing that distinguishes CJC from CJC-1295 (DAC)
Use-Case Study Notations
- Case-study notation: published pharmacokinetic trials under the name CJC-1295 describe the long-acting DAC analog and are filed on that page.
- Case-study notation: analytical papers on synthetic GHRH analogs are the closer indexed literature for telling these sequences apart.
- Sermorelin is GHRH(1–29). Modified short-acting CJC sequences are related research tools, not the same chain.
Selected Studies (English, PubMed)
Indexed pharmacokinetic trials of CJC-1295 describe the long-acting DAC analog and are listed on the CJC-1295 page. Two peer-reviewed sources below cover GHRH-analog detection and GH-axis peptide research. Links open the PubMed record for verification.
